Question Words that stick in your head.

Does anyone get strange words that for some reason just stick in your head? I thought it was just me, but a few of my friends say it happens to them too!
Don't know why it happens but it's annoying, after you have heard the word or just thought about it, it just keeps popping back into your head all day.... Bah!
Words that do my head in are.... "unfurl" and "ventricle".
A couple of the ones that get my mates are "kasabian" and "bastian" (as in Ali Bastian off Hollyoaks)
Anyone else got any others? or is it just me and my mates.....

OK, the place where you and your...."friends" are, does it have bars in windows and are there people walking around with white long coats?

Hehe, seriously, no, I can't say that any words stick like that, heck I'm so old I have difficulties remembering my name.

I get it more with music - sometimes words, sometimes just the tune, although occasionally weird words stick in my head, none in particular tho, just odd ones I rarely hear.

I do, I think mine comes from my knack of learning english, I picture words in my head, so once they're there it's sometimes hard to kick them out.

two that come to mind are hydroxypropyl methylcellulose I had to type them loads once and they just sorta stick.

I think they replaced me vitural clock I used to suffer from.

It's a part of my brain I reckon I could put to better uses.
    I'm new to this

I think its worse when you say or look at a word so much it ceases to have any meaning and just looks wrong.

I get shit songs stuck in my head all the time, but then I listen to Club977 a lot.

    MORIBUND..

slip that in to a conversation and watch them stop, think and then ask what it means...
Sometimes i like nasty close ups,
Sometimes I like them air brushed,
Sometimes it's a spread brown eye,
    Sometimes it's girl on girl.
Sometimes a steamy letter will do it.
And not often, but sometimes I like the idea of a chick
    with a horse.

Snatches of songs are always doing mine.

    Todays was

'Do you know the way to San Jose?'

    Yesterdays was

    'Your beauty is beyond compare
With flaming locks of auburn hair
With ivory skin and eyes of emerald green'

"SEX" does it for me, like most blokes (about 3 times an hour )

I use curmudgeon to stop a conversation dead and have folks dashing for the dictionary - see I've done it again.
