left traps set will do that for a few days and will wait and see if i see more.
when setting the traps noticed that there was blood by it and a trail of little bloody foot prints going into the bathroom, he must have been injured that why i was able to catch him.

talk about flushing your life away!

Best thing I ever had for getting mice was nutella - they loved it. It's the perfect combination of everything people have mentioned - chocolate and peanut butter.

I used mine in the humane traps though.

The mice that live under my deck in the garden seem to have a taste for my Deck light power cable!!. The little buggers have eaten through it twice.

To put Marco at rest - we had a mouse once, and I put a few traps down with - yep you guessed it - cheese.

First morning came down, and there was a mouse with the trap straight through the middle of his head - ouch.

No more since.

However couldn't help but reply after seeing a exert on Gmtv this morning saying that it is a myth that mice like cheese and they do prefer things like chocolate....

What's that all about?

Like Marcode i would have gone for cheese as my first choice of bait but i'm 34 and was brought up with Tom & Jerry and Speedy Gonzales...

I'm just curious is it common knowledge that mice have a sweet tooth or is it just the few elite that knows this?
