When mine started to go west, bought a pair of clippers and helped it on its way. Take two bottles into the shower nah - shave all your hair off and you dont need any =)

I’m 21 and starting to see it going backwards. Seen lots of adverts and what have you for different stuff you can get. Looks like some of the oral stuff provides the body with what it needs for hair growth. Haven’t tried any yet. Would be interesting to see an honest time sequence if they work.

Is shit scary losing it this young.

just let it happen. I started thinning at about 25. I usually just go for a grade zero or 1 (grade 2 if trying to look less like a criminal!)

loads of women love it, never had an issue there. It's not your fault you are a proper man with loads of testosterone whizzing around your body is it ?

    Embrace it, enjoy it.

I feel so guilty here. Plenty of hair, albeit a little thinner than 40 odd years ago . What annoys me, though, is the amount of time it takes me to get these greyish highlights in

I realise there's loads of theories on hair loss (hereditary, stress, pollution etc) but I am 31 and show no signs of receding or thinning even though a good deal of my pals of the same age do.

I have always given my scalp a vigorous massage when shampooing and believe that by stimulating the scalp you can give yourself a healthy barnet. Also I have always finished my shower with the water on the coldest setting possible for about a minute, which again I believe helps circulation in your bonce. I have never really worn gel, wax or products in my hair as I feel it can block your pores on your scalp. Every few years I go through a phase of shaving it all off for a few months, which seems to make it grow back quicker and stronger.

Maybe some of these tips wil help, maybe I am just fortunate to have good head of hair. If and when mine does start to thin, I will definitely whip it all off as I think it's the best way.

I noticed losing my hair when I was 21, bunging up the shower plug hole etc.. It definately
knocks your confidence initially and you become so concious when you're socialising etc.

I've never really looked for a concise cure to it as I think it would make the news big time if there was. By the time I accepted it as the usual male pattern baldness (At about 25) i just learnt to live with it, and grade 2 trims every few weeks. As said, it doesn't seem to cause an issue with the females (unless you got a face that looks like road kill).

I guess other peoples experience isn't going to make you feel much better right now, and all you want is to find that magic cure, but I don't think you will find it mate.. you may well delay the inevitable for a while with expensive potions etc.. but that stuff will only work to some extent as long as you keep using it.

I am almost completely grey (at 26) and would much rather be bald.

Shave it off and don't worry!

Hair loss is a major problem, but there is a solution with no expensive potions or pills that clearly are a waste of money.
