    Default full(ish) moon

noticed the moon was/is quite full tonight so thought i would have a crack at a snapping it. Exposure is a tad tricky. Wish i had a 600mm lens

not bad at all that matey, some nice detail at 300mm, you should try it at lower iso's with higher eposure time too for some nice images, but that one's spot on.

    Cracking shot, nice capture..
Was out at work at dusk last night and noticed how the moon looked awesome and the sunset was very pastel coloured, but being on the fire engine, didn't really have anywhere to store me camera gear. Gutted.. Hoping it repeats itself again tonight.
Isn't this weekend some of the largest tides of the year??

i would love the kit to take stuff like this. Supposed to be a bunch of images stitched together captured from a 3k telescope fed into a a canon d20 and stitched together in photoshop. Or it could just be a cgi render. It does look cool though
