Since the upgrade? shouldn't you be on 4mb then? you're only getting 2mb.

I'm on 4mb and getting 4mb even over a wireless connection.

I only have a 512/512 ADSL connection, but it's free from work.
When I lived in Madrid in 2001, I had 2mb ADSL at home, from Telefonica, back then I was the king of the woooorld.

How very odd, its not my speed test!, i was the same as you, just under 4mbps

Makes more sense why my news server downloads top out at 250kb/s

On Blueyonder 4Meg, results 4.12! (Which surely can not be right)...

However, of late my usenet downloads have been a bit slow, but I've been seeding torrents again, which seems to have an effect for a few days.

My Nildram line is ADSL Max, 700mts from the exchange, max speed 2m. I believe Pipex/Nildram don't have the bandwidth in some exchanges. I am hunting for alternatives....Also have broadband from cable this performs very well.
