motorola v3

recently got a v3 and when i click messages it asks for a password it does the same for camera ive tried 1234 and 000000 but nothing can anyone help

Was it a new V3? I don't recall mine asking for a password (mine was new). If it was a used V3 get back to the seller and ask him/her - he might have done a "seem edit" to apply protection.

edit: check under "security options" where it seems you can lock groups of applications.
