Monitor prob

My mates brought a Daewoo internatonal monitor model Lps- 150, It wont work with his graphic card, A nvidia Geforce 420 .. Comes on and wont let him run DVD's says the graphic card is not compatable cannot creat direct 3d device ?

Anyone know what to do ? apart from the bloody thing out the window..

and has he installed the monitor drivers or is it still plug and play? But the 3d bit is def a graphics driver update....

Sounds like a graphics driver issue as other said. What software are you using to play the DVD?

Its not a monitor issue. Reinstall directx, graphics card driver and DVD player software your using. All latest versions if possible.

Or it could be something as simple as the monitor not set up to a high enough reselution.
