    Help Sony Bravia - KLV-V40A10E

Anybody own one of these? In a moment of insanity I have decided to buy one, as I get a new one from Germany with a wallmount for €2000, which is about £1350. Well, unless someone here has some really bad experiences with this set?

Yep, just got a quote from them.

1998,90 Euro for the KLV-V40A10E incl. wall mount
    110,25 *Euro for shipping
    -----------
    2.109,15 Euro TOTAL

I still think it's pretty good no?

I just got the KDL40V200 LCD not sure if its an older or newer model but have to say I'm well impressed with it. But it is the first flatpanel tv Ive had so I would be.

OK, sounds encouraging. Did you mean KDL40V2000?

Its was a good TV mate, but you can get the new 40s model which is better than the old V series for £1499, or the replacement V for £1699. There is a huge difference between the new range and the old one. Including the new range has PC input on all models.

I personally wouldn't pay that much, I think its worth more like £1000-1100

I work for a Sony Centre and have bought the new series V, def worth the money, don't think the old ones are though.

PM me if you want to know anything specific.

Ahhh such a nice boy, but takes his words with a pinch of salt, I work with the guy and he is a dodgy dealer.... beware!!!

The new Sony panels are fantastic, the older ones are good. But it's a mine field out there, if you want the TV for the true Hi-Def experience, your not going to get it with a V, you need to go for an X.
