    Hi
I hope everything goes ok but I have worked as a Sales Manager for the last 15 years, for 3 different companies - one with over 70 reps and I have never known one at 19yrs old, trainee or not. I believe that the company insurance for a rep under 21yrs driving a company car is an a fortune.
If you are unsuccessful on this occasion I would suggest you spend the next couple of years working in the business you later want to sell into.
    hope this helps

I wanted to be a pimp in my younger days.. but was told I need to shag more women before I would get the job

Seriously though, that's good advice mate.. whilst I hope Makas gets the job, there is a lot going against him in a constructive way (not critism); age, experience, product knowledge etc.

    Hi
well done m8, I take it that its not a field position then - as insurance for you to drive a company car under 21 is so expensive no company can find this viable when they can hire an older more experienced guy for less money.
Perhaps this is one of those "reps" jobs where you get paid commision only on a self employed basis and use your own vehicle- if this is the case if/when you tell your insurance company that your car is for business u will see why I said what I said.
    good luck though
    cheers

    Hi
congratulations m8, they must really rate you as this will cost them well over double what an over 21 would have cost. you have a similar size car to mine and my tax on that is declared as earning on my P11D (or whatever it called) at about £2,500 for car and another £2,500 for fuel so I get taxed as if I earned another £5000(so about £110 per month extra tax).
but you should feel proud as you must have made an impression as they could have got an older more experienced rep for less.
    cheers

It surprises me that a CV that bad, both visually and in terms of content, didn't get thrown straight into the bin.

I mean, come on man, you keep pointing out you are "only 19", well call me old fashioned but surely it can be expected for a 19 year old to be at least half literate.

Ohm and I don't like the "5 D's" one little bit

Tips on what to do and what not to do????

Between me and you, have you really ever been to work?

That was in the back of my mind, is this just a load of bollocks?

Is it like this guy is pretending that he has his dream job so he can pretend he is "successful" over the net?

    When really, he just isn't?

Some of our older members will remeber jonathant, who on IRC used to weave some magical tales of his penthouse flat in manchester, company Merc and expensive hotel stays in London drinking champers on teh company's cash.

Det and I were sus because he was a right tool, so Det being Det he found out his phone number. I called one night to be greeted by his mum, when I asked to speak to Jonathan, she said "He's just gone out on his skateboard".

True story.................. fuck me we howled for days......

this is a wind up surely lol..

19 years old and they are giving you a mondeo.. fair play to you if you arent talking bollox...

..but whoever approved a 2 litre car for a 19 year old sales rep with zero experience and a cv that reads like a secondary school leaver is clearly off their fucking head and will soon be declaring bankruptcy.
