New Rig - Help Needed...

I built my new rig at the weekend, consisting of the following:

Asus A8N-SLI SE Motherboard
AMD X2 4400 Processor
Freezer 64 Pro
OCZ 1.5 gig Memory - PC 3500 EL
Antec 480W TrueBlue Power Supply
Lian Li Case
Club 3D 7900GTX PCI-E Gfx Card

It works fine, however whenever I start the computer with any type of USB device connected, it will hang on the boot screen (which is the Asus screen that says press delete to enter setup). I then need to remove all USB devices and it will book ok when I reset.

I have made sure that the bios has all of the correct USB settings (legacy support etc) and all of the power to the motherboard looks ok. This happens for any USB device connected. I have also tried disconnecting all of the additional USB ports internally, but it still does not work.
I have updated the motherboards bios to the latest version, and tried all of the latest drivers.

Any other suggestions?

Have you checked the boot-up order/sequence? Some have a problem where the bios tries to boot from non-bootable devices.

Yea, I have adjusted the bios so it has the hard drive as the only boot sequence, the other boot sequences are disabled...
