    Question Wii Sports

    Hi all,

As most will most prob know, Wii Sports will be packaged with the console.
What I'm trying to find out is how many games (and which sports) will be in the game?
This list may have not been officially released yet but you never know.

In Tennis, you'll grab the controller like a racket and swing – the game will register forehands, backhands, volleys, lobs, slices, spin and power depending on how fast you swing and at what angle.

Baseball will have you gripping the controller like a bat and swatting fastballs out of the park in a home run derby.

In Golf you'll step up to the tee, hold the controller like a golf club and swing naturally to smack the ball onto the green.

In Bowling, players raise the Wii Remote in their hand just like a bowling ball, and then swing their arms to roll the ball.

When Boxing, using the Nunchuk controller as one glove and the Wii Remote as the other, players dodge, weave and punch their opponents.

I must obviously got confused. I thought I read that there were 30 games on Wii Sports. Must have been 30 games at launch or by Christmas.
Can't even think of 30 sports!
Shame there isn't a darts game or something in there. Plus I hope that the sports are going to be more than Wario Ware style minigames.

Will still buy the console though.

it was a rumour about there being 30 games.

the boxing game sounds really clever, being able to hold each part of the nunchuck and punch is incredible. I cant wait to try it.

I read the same thing about the 30 Wii sports games Dappa,

probably from this news from last week

Rumour: Over 30 Games for Wii Sports?

Rumour has it that Wii sports will have over 30 playable games up its sleeve. This was sparked by a posting in EGM's rumour mill section.

    quote:

The latest issue of EGM arrived for subscribers this week, and it contains an interesting rumor located in the magazine’s “Rumor Mill.”

According to EGM, it is possible that Wii Sports will feature more sports games than just the revealed Tennis, Baseball and Golf variety.

The magazine writes, “With all the Wii buzz going around, it’s super easy to hear juicy deets about Nintendo upcoming casual console. For instance, my sources tell me that Wii Sports is going to pack more than just your typical tennis and baseball. In fact, it looks like Wii Sports is going to sport over 30 different games in one sweat-inducing package. The obvious sports games are easy to guess, but you have to wonder what else it’s going to offer.”
