Default Pre Order - any good places to secure

Is there a good tactic or a better place to pre order one of these babies, I normally woudl not, but a mad nintendo fan and woudl liek one on day of release.

I am london based, Canary Wharf infact, work in center, very near oxford street.

I did nto realise it was due out so soon.

I woudl prefer not to put a deposit unless it can be garunteed!

    Cheers.....Q

i dont think anywhere is taking official pre orders yet but they have been taking names for a while, i heard it will be a £20 deposit and arround a month before the release date when they accept them.

Colour is just white for the initial batch.

Alas my nearest game store is a good 40 miles or so away, so gameplay best option for me. Always had my preorder stuff (ds lite was last console) on release day or a day before.

Just pre-ordered from GamePlay, had no idea they started taking pre-orders 2day, even though I was on their site about 20 mins ago!

They say they're doing it on a "first come, first serve" basis, hopefully I'll be one of the lucky ones!!

Info Re: Pre Order - any good places to secure

Game have a new range of seven Nintendo Wii bundles available.

Play.com, PC World and HMV are continuing to take pre-orders for £179.99. They will not charge your credit card until the console ships and you can cancel at any time. You have nothing to lose by pre-ordering.

I have one on Play (Probably going to Cancel) and one at Game with a £20 deposit which I put on Last night. Said I was one of the first. Was at the Oxford Circus branch where I got my 360 from on Launch night and unfortunately got on the BBC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got it with Zelda and an extra remote, not making the mistake like the 360 and getting 5 games that I wont be able to play before they go down in price!

Oxford Circus, damn good idea, i was thinking of tracking down an place likely to open at midnight on launch day. So close as well.

But i am now very tempted to wait until an alternat colour comes out. Not keen on the white.
