I've watched a little of it and read quite a few write-ups. The general consensus is that it's derivative and poorly written and what I've watched does little to dispel that notion. It looks and sounds to me like a cross between The X-Men and the 4400. The actring was poor as well.

I watched it and thought it was alright, it does have potential but i so hope they do not make another 'Lost' out of it with a continous dragging on of the story.

The ending they changed a bit aswell. The one in the orginal pilot worked a lot better than the computerised edit they did.

Lets just hope they do this well.

Name me a TV show in history that doesnt drag story archs? that is the whole point in a TV show. I suppose you just want them to find Earth in Battlestar Gallactica, wished they just found their way home after a couple of episodes of Lost in Space, and I bet you was just banging your head against a brick wall everytime Sam leap into another body instead of his own in Quantam Leap.

I mean hell.....while we are at it, lets all help Earl rectify his wrong doings, and tell Sydney Bristow to use Wikipedia to find out more about Rambaldi, and tell Carrie from Sex in the City to just order an online groom.

UltraViolet ... only 6 episodes but, boy, were they great. UK SciFi at it's best.

I am all for fleshing out story arcs, as long as they are relevant in the universe, but Lost really takes the biscuit by throwing in chance meetings with other cast members to justify the link. That along with only giving a smidgen of the main story per episode is what "grinds-my-gears" as Peter Griffin would say.

Well Lost was not meant to be a show that continued on for several seasons, but something that would work for one or maybe two seasons. The only reason they did was becuase they were making so much money. By conitinung the story they've prodcued very poor quality episodes and it ruins the great reputation the show had from the first season. The same is taking place with prison break as well.

But Heroes is a show I can see working very well. I just hope they dont screw it up.
