OMFG they gave you a Peugeot.
    IT people slash forward.

Also, lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....

    Any Problems:

It's French, make sure they actually remembered to put on all 4 wheels and that they're actually attached to the car.

On a serious note. The clutches tend to go far too easily on them. And Peugeot dealers are possibly THE worst dealership to go to. Half of them can barely pronounce 'car' let alone help you with any problems.
The indicator stalks sometimes get stuck

Double check ALL the electronics. Peugeot have been on watchdog countless times over their appaling electronics. On many 406's and 307's the engines sometimes just cut out which is somethig to do with the ignition not disengaging the starter motor.
The engine can literally die at any time (on a motorway, anywhere)
One person's car did this, Peugeot couldn't fix the car and 4 months later the engine caught fire and the car was written off.
Peugeots response "Not our fault, call your insurance".

Now the scary part.....thats actually a common fault and after much hassling Peugeot paid for it. But yet again, their customer services were appaling.

I've heard stories about airbags going off simply because of bumps in the road.

And just to make sure it hits home. Their dealers are AWFUL. I really can't emphasise enough how rubbish they are. They even manage to screw up straight forward services. If you have to take it to one, make sure to watch them like a hawk, and make them aware that you know your stuff and will double check everything they do (even if you don't pretend you do).

Question Re: New company car , peugeot 307 estate (diesel) ..... any thoughts ?

Thanks for all your kind words . Cheers for the info Epiphany , nice and in-depth . You will be glad to know that the 307 estate wasnt available , but instead I took a Megane i.6 16v Estate. I know its another French car but I will have to live with that . Anyway , anything to look out for on the Megane estate ? The keyless remote fob takes some getting used to , altho I expect it will be second nature in a week or two ...lol

    cheers for any input

a 307? wounded bruv. Id act seriously insulted nd go nd see ur boss!

seriously tho, isnt the 307 the model that when u close the door it adds some miles to the clock?

EDIT: just seen that uve got the megane. Not a big fan of the bigger renaults but much better option than the 307!

    I own a 2002 307. Bought from dealer.

Never let me down yet. Do around 1000 miles a month with my job.

Door locks stuck a few times, but dealer was happy to change them and pick and deliver the car off again.

Shit ride quality really and shit engine
