been using pipex for over 2 years and speeds are good but when using bittorrents Ive had to tweak it to allow better speeds as they apparently slow down p2p traffic..

define "a fair bit" a fair bit to some folk is 3 gigs, but to others its 300gigs... it depends on the individual usage and ACTUAL figures..

you wont get a truely uncapped service any more unless you are willing to pay for it..

i believe zen do fully uncapped unmetered unthrottled 8meg for about 80 quid.

otherwise, for say.. 30 quid a month, nowadays on ADSLmax your looking at a cap of anything from 50-300gb. anyone who tells you its truely unlimited is a lying cunt, especially if the price is sub £25/pm. you just have to look around for the right package for you..

im currently with UKFSN and the package suits me perfectly atm.. 29.99 quid for 60/330gb.

dont go with anyone offering anything more than a 3 month contract. especially the state of adsl as it is, things change on a month by month basis

Currently on Bulldog 16MB Unlimited package - download about 300GB pm.

No probs for the last 4 months, nobody has moaned at me for downloading this much regularly.

Then again Pipex have just took over the residential side so I shouldn't speak too soon....

I'd say we probably download 200gig a month, which is more than enough for us. So yeah maybe if started downloading a TB or somthing they might have something to say!
