Games Crashing

I have been having problems with games crashing. It started with Saints Row, I have 2 missions available and everytime I try to start one of them it goes to the title page where it says the name of the mission then the 360 freezes up and I have to turn it off at the console.

I have also had some problems with Test Drive. Originally it was freezing normally when doing some thing with the garage so when I went to change vehicle or went to buy a vehicle. The 360 would crash and need powering off. I was also starting to get crashes when just driving around in freemode. I burnt another copy and the random crashes have ceased.

I have used the latest FW, i use verbs and pioneer 111D.

Could this be a sign that my 360 is on its way out? Could the Pot Calibration fix the problem?

Any ideas?

I know for a fact that you still have the receipt for it........... Take it back to Woolies and get a new one!!

its not the 360 its the image you been writing or your using a dl disk that your 360 does nto like try differant disks verbatims dl never had a problam

ive read a few people who hacked their 360 early on say that its showing signs of wear already, one guy reported it nolonger being able to play dvd moves off dvdr and loading times were getting stupidly long.

Well i bought this 360 second hand so I reckon it was one of the release day boxes. I also flashed the fw as soon as it was available.

I am using Verbatim disks so i doubt its a disk problem, i always burn at 1x.
