newsgroups arrrghh

was fed up using torrents so signed up for newsgroup access with newsdemon.com and they gave me news rover software to d/l with...trouble with im getting big problems with missing files/corrupt files anybody use this service?am i just with a crap co?is the software crap? just looking for feedback and views as its driving me nuts

For starters mate are you using the par files? Depending on what is in your nzb you will usually get a load of par2 files. There are used to repair any corrupt rars & can recover seemingly hopeless files.

You will need quickpar if you don't already have it

mate im thick as shit bud yep i have had some par files and yep i tried that quickpar thing but didnt know how to use it any tips? i take it a par file is used to repair a rar?

when you install the programme the files will be associated to it so all you have to do is double click the par and it will do the rest for you. Just make sure you have it set to auto repair.
