I want to turn this into a ringtone

Just downloaded this and want to convert it and chop it so i can use it as a ringtone. Can anyone help or suggest a programme please. Or do you know of a cover version thats a bit more up to date and tempo

Try using goldwave to edit it.

its an m4p file so i guess that means its copyrighted. Goldweave doesnt reconise it and asks you to discribe its format

I don't know what the tune is, tried to download it but got an error message.
If and when I do my own, I convert them with dbpoweramp to wav, then I use the basic Windows Sound Recorder to chop it, then I convert them back to mp3 or occassinally to aac, with dbpoweramp.
