What are the main differences in the Dual Core D900 series and the Core 2 Duo series?

Also the D945 is 3.4 is that x2 or -2 making it a 1.7 ghz system x2

the main differance between the core duo and the D9XX series chips is that the D series is two cores stitched together where as core duo is a designed form the ground up as two cores on one chip , the D series is ok but if your going to buy get the core duo is is far superior for not much more money
they use less power so are cooler and are quicker clock for clock due to the design
