    Default Online payment system required

I'm in the process of having a site created which will accept online payments, can anyone suggest any online payment companies, ideally dont want to use paypal because a user needs to be a member of them before they can purchase from me, i've looked at world pay and they want £380 upfront before i do any transactions plus a £0.50 charge per transaction, i dont want to pay £380 upfront because i have no idea if my site will take off or not.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Hi m8,

Unless something has changed recently customers you send to the Paypal payment page from your site don't need a Paypal account. They have the option to just pay or setup an account.

    Cheers
    Nick

You didn't used to need a Paypal account to pay (even though it looked like you did) but I just checked one of my sites and it's insisting that I sign up. I hate that, I wonder how many customers give up when they see the sign up page.

    Hi m8

Take a look @ www.nochex.com site but dont touch Paypal at all costs as the little f**kers will do chargebacks against you if they lose any money on the transaction.

    Fee Details

    Good luck m8ty

    thanks for all the help,

canardo i hvae done my research and it all looks good, just dont want to fork out £380 and it goes down as a loss.

Think i might give nochex a try, do they have a maximum transaction amount per day? I've looked on their site but cant find one, does anyone use nochex, what are they like?

you don't need to have a paypal account to make a purchase. if gives the customer an option to pay by credit card.
