USA Population Now Over 300 Million

The Population in the USA passed the 300 million mark before 9am EST / 2pm GMT today.

Another interesting fact that came out in the newscasts, is that the USA's busiest Maternity Unit is in a North Atlanta Hospital, where at 8 am EST today, there where 24 women in labour.

The figures do not factor in Illegal Immigrants.

Another interesting fact is that in terms of energy consumption, 1 yank is the equivilent of 2 european or 10 indians. (Or so some guy on BBC said this morning).
