    Default pc startup problem

    pc startup problem
    hi all i have an orange live box
    the problem is if i have the ethernet plugged in to the live box during start up
    i get a quick flash of a blue screen then the pc restarts all the time unless i do as below

    so i have to pull out the ethernet lead from live box until windows is started then
    plug it back in to use the internet
    and to be honest its getting a pain in the a*se
    could any1 shed some light on this please

    if any good i have a amd 64 3200
    and a gigabyte board
    .

    access the event viewer and try to find the error. (click Start -> Run, type eventvwr.msc and press Enter)

    the error will most likely be logged in the system category, use the time and date fields to determine which error it is and post the description back here

    will i still get the log even though at the time i cant acess windows at time of error or just wait till i restart without cable in and check then
    .

    if you experience a blue screen error, it should (and usually does) get logged in time


    ..btw if you want to read what the blue screen error reports, search disable restart on bsod in google (the info in event viewer is more useful though)
