Will be popping into poundland then! bargain for a quid, i can imagine it would come in handy for macro shots etc for placing on tables at a low level where a full size tripod just isnt needed.

I was in the £1 shop the other day and seen a plastic Tripod.... No idea how good it was etc.... but for £1!

Tesco one looks solid however.
