pace box no power

was trying to do a pace box for my mate i think its 1000 model but when plugged in doesnt power up. nothing on led cud be a faulty cpu or led problem. i can try a working led from my box but i think its probable the cpu is faulty. any ideas how i can replace this and what i shud be changing.

i borrowed multi meter from my friend but dont have a clue how to use it. any advice i can compare working box to this one and see where the faults coming from. how do i go about doing this guys.

try re placing the on board fuse ..?got a pic some where ..

its usually more than a fuse prob on 1000 models id give it to someone who knows how to fix electrical stuff or bin it

there very old box's now.

can you post pic please so i can have a go replacing it. i read somewhere that you have to replace the red thing just ahead of where you plug power. it s quite big and i think its transformer but not sure?

i have a multimeter can someone tell me how to check it and what i need to set it to?
