First Attempt :/

Finally got around to buying a camera, well would fail my course without, and started using it properly today, trying out vaious things with little success, but here are a few less crap shots.

These are all taken by the canal just outside my flat with the fujifilm s5600 - i needed a simple yet packed with functions cam.

Not bad for your first attempts

I really like the 4th shot, it reminds me of Amsterdam, not just because the canal, even the buildings in the background remind me of it lol

I've got the same camera myself, once you get used to it im sure you'll like it, plus theres all the manual settings etc you can get stuck into when your ready, it took me a while to fully appreciate the camera.

cheers guys, fortunatly this city (Leicester) is packed with great photo oppurtunites, so you'll be seeing more of it hopefully with improving skillz.

Somecracking first shots there mate. Liking the first bridge ne, the reflection is a nice touch, might work well in B and W???

The swan one is nice too, just a shame there's a little bit of cropping..
Other than that look forward to seeing more..
