    Default FAO Geordies

Turns out instead of the train i'm gonna end up driving to the match tomorrow, to see the mighty blades in action

Was just wondering (as i've never driven to your place, only coached it), what's the best plan on parking/drinking before the game?

Cheers in advance for any help

There is loads of places to park m8,but as its close to xmas it will be packed solid.

I would suggest parking out of town a bit and maybe getting the metro (tube thing) to St james

As for the drinking m8, take your pick the place is packed full of watering holes.

Think Idols still has strippers on pre match but it will be full of hardcore Geordies so be warned

but really there are loads of places for a bevvy.

Cheers for the advice guys. I ended up parking at the metro arena (£4 for the day).

Great result for us, just what we needed.

What did you think to our support? Been told by someone its the best he's heard at St James in a while.

hehe less said about the result the better m8.

Chopra tore shreds off us, didnt think he would but i suppose every player pulls his socks up for a game they probably looked for when the fixtures came out.

Atmosphere was wicked m8, from both sets. Shame there was only 26500 there though.

In the end you done a right job on us.

What surprised me mate was the behaviour, seemed like a very good rapport all the fans had.

Dunno, haven't spoken to anyone who went up there yet. With our lot it very much depends on how the old bill treat us and whether we get sufficient welcome in the local hostelries. I think we like Sunderland as well. Proper club, good stadium. A result always helps as well.
