fuck the 360.................i wanna c more of her !!!
lol, you can have a feel of them if you give me an answer
You cant via messenger mate, well i dont think so. Go to xbox.com, use your passport to login, and you get all the use of the site, msg people, see what your buddies are doing etc..
I read this on quite a few sites,
Xbox Live integration
As of MSN Messenger 7.0, the client offers a level of integration with Microsoft's Xbox Live Internet Gaming service. Users of MSN Messenger can go to the Xbox Website and link their gamertag to Microsoft's .NET Passport network. This will allow MSN Messenger to report the user's Xbox Live friends list, as well as allow them to send game invitations to players, so that the user does not have to be on Xbox Live in order to arrange games. This feature goes along with Microsoft's continuing goal to place integration between their various services. After December 2, 2005, Xbox Live Integration had temporarily malfunctioned. This was due to the change in hardware and protocol brought with the release of the Xbox 360. The error was soon corrected however, and full functionality is now available
got the info from here

Hmmmmmmm, I didnt know thats what they wanted it to do. As i say I can send msg's etc and view friends, etc... cant invite to games via the website mind.
Have you tried bub?
no i am trying at the mo, its not for inviting friends its for seeing who is on xbox live while you are on your pc from msn messenger
Good luck mate! I can see who is online (on the 360) but this is done by the website and not MSN, be a good feature if its working though.
Ive got a funny feeling they have stopped this feature now
Good old MS!!
I thought as much, I go on the xbox.com website all the time mate and have never seen the invite thing.
Roll on the next update!
Yeah, go into your hotmail passport settings at hotmail.com and set it so that you appear to be from the states then something something something. I wish I could be more help (I'll update this, going to go try it again in a minute). I used to have this when I played before the 360 was out but changed it back to the UK when I started playing WoW and lost the need for XBL.
Ok, had a look and it doesn't appear to be happening at the moment. The next best thing to avoid opening your browser to see your friends is this:
Friends List Desktop Icon
Works as good as the MSN addon. Just click it to see who's online etc.
cheers for replies yset phoned xbox live and they said it would be out in the future even though its supposed to be available now.
cheers
