Speaker system needed

Because im using a vga lead on my 360 to my TFT monitor i am in need of a sound system that will connect via the red and white plugs on the vga lead, does anyone have any ideas as to what i can buy.

I tried to connect it to my cambridge soundworks but no good.

Does anyone else play there 360 on there monitor using the vga lead??
What do you use for sound?

you can get a connector and plug it into your pc soundcard m8, i tried using the phono sockets at the side of my tele but that didnt work either

Does that mean you would always have to have the pc powered up to run the sound for the 360?

has your amp got a digital input on it ..if yes just hook up a fibre optuc cable 2 it and that will get you your sound
.theres a fibre optic socket on the back of the vga cable

on the hd cable there is but not on the vga cable.

It doesnt have a digi input on the amp either

cant you connect it to any other inputs on the amp, would that not work??? like an aux or something

I just plug the red/white phono`s into the back of my speakers.
They have 4-5 inputs on them and you can click between em...nice and easy!

Thats was when i didnt realise i needed speakers and hadnt tried my cambridge ones.

nah m8, doesnt look like it.

Theres no jack sockets for any leads on it, its a samsung new one.

Because the only output available on a 360 is USB, does anyone know if these would work ??

doesnt your amp have a 3.5mm input if so use a phono to 3.5mm convertor as freaky posted

All its got on the amp m8 is the four red and white connectors for the 4 speakers and a green connector and black connector for the cable that goes to the pc ??

buy this to split the black connector into two

and buy this to connect the red and white of the 360 to the black connector splitter

these two items will enable you to connect your pc and your 360 to your amp

Ahh so i only use the black connector in the amp then, not the green one.

So when those cables are connected the green hole in the amp will not be used?

if you plug your pc into the black one then in theory yes you will only use the black one if you buy those two items i suggested

do you know what make and model your amp is as maybe i can check the specs over to see if there is a better option for you so you can setup as is without ordering any items

Its a creative soundworks four point surround FPS1500 m8

looks like the best way would be to split it off using the items i suggested in one of my other posts

easy enough

put the splitter into the black connector on back of amp pc lead into one female connector on splitter red/white splitter into other then red/white lead off vga from 360 into the red white splitter
