    Question Sata or USB Burner?

I have upgraded to a new pc which only takes SATA drives. I have tried to use my Pioneer 111d in a usb caddy (with usb and then the firewire slot) but burning images fails after 20 minutes. I'm gonna sell on the 111d and invest in a SATA or USB Writer. Any recommendations guys??

Wack in 1394 firewire card which are cheap now and pioneer will work a dream.
Doing this on my laptop and works a treat, but usb shares between all connections as firewire does not.

Yup, as hutch says! I was using USB with my laptop, and it kept stopping at random percentages each time I tried to burn a disc! Then moved to firewire, and been fine ever since!

Using firewire tonight has made no difference. It must be the caddy.
