been listening to this for a couple of weeks now and its pretty damn good..

as the game notes in one of the tracks its a bit of a preview of detox i guess.

one night - love the hook on this one.. "i only fuck wit you, on 2 occaisions.. etc"
doctor's advocate - this is nice, busta is good on this.
ol' english - really nice chilled track.

if this is a taster of detox, i cant fuckin wait.. mind you dre isnt credited with production on any of the tracks, but it certainly sounds dre-ish for a large portion of the album.

Just been discussing this and I am impressed with this. Agree with the Dre feel. I had pretty much not bothered with any of this guys shit but he has come good here though unwittingly I always liked Dreams.

Too Much but think that is the Nate Dogg thing

On another note..Dre is NOT on any track.. Not producing not rappin...

Why would then this album sound likte the future sound of Dre?
Its more likely that the other producers tried to make the Dre- Compton sound that dre has used in the passed...

Dre has worked with him in the past though and has probably influenced the young pup by doing so. Lets face it if you were a young rapper how could you not have Dre as an idol?

game has changed his style alot on this album for the better, he does sound much more like dre now. I prefer this album over his first, has anyone herd the re-up album by eminem yet? just downloaded it from torrents gonna give it a good listen tonight.
