Laying in hospital

well came in yesterday and had my tonsils out, damn the pain lol. Anyway thought i would share my pain and the fact that i am using those new tv and computer units over the bed to write this which is pain in the ass to do........... anyway catch you soon guys

Typing on those rubberised keypads is a damned nuisance, and by now (about 10 minutes) you'll need to top the credit up

Never mind, at least they woke you up about an hour ago so you can lie there awake instead of reposing or having a nice natural slumber.

Ask them to at least give you some morphine seeing as brekkie is out of the question (mmm morphine...)

Had mine out a few years ago. The 2 weeks recovery process is a shitty one (well, was for me anyway. Probably because of my age). I don't envy you at all....

Over the past year i have spent plenty of time in hospital, (UCH), and them flippin patiantlaine things were the bain of my life. Never worked propely lol. I hated the food too, so i kept phoning for takeaway lol. get well soon

well home now ... thanks guys yes the machine was a nightmare..... cost the earth too..... bloody lot sof pain but thats why 5 set of medicines were given to take home.... had another op on throat problem hence the issue of more long term rather than over night

Have you got the stuff you have to gargle with that brings up all sorts of frothy goodness from the back of your throat?

Aye just this second finished gargling tonights dose lolol.... fooking dirty green shite for throat numbing.... then steroids/ pain killers/ anti inflamatories and coupld of other small pain killers (codine sulphate or sumint .....

But that gargle stuff is funky

problem with my op is it was too near an episode of tonsilitus so caught infection in hospital.... not sure of name but the dangly bit in back of throat is like the size of a golf ball , maybe a bit smaller and is blocking back of my throat... so i have to lay with head back so it dangles back in to nect and not sits on my tongue blocking breathing etc.... might have to go back in today as its not reducing in size even though steriods etc.... also some bleeding too..

Ffs we shall see so next post could be from hospital bed again lol

damn.... sory to hear that mate, know the feeling too well.... would reccomend antibiotics asap and get some gargling going on..... get some parecetomol disolved in water (from chemist) works wonders... gargle then swollow and also gargle with some good mouth wash
