Right, i'm pissed off. I installed IE7 last night (only in order to remove the fuckin update notifications it kept giving me - no intentions of using the fuckin thing!).
So, I starts up my computer on returning home tonight to an error message "Cannot start explorer.exe because normaliz.dll cannot be found"

Nice one! Reboot in case it's a one-off problem, but same again! So... If anyone else tries installing IE7, bear the following in mind on how to solve...!

1) ctrl+alt+del to bring up task manager
2) new task --> {locate your installation of firefox - if you haven't got it installed, why?!?}
3) Go to the following page and download the .dll file to your drive http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl...shtml?normaliz
4) task manager again, now new task and locate your zip program (typically winzip) and run it.
5) Extract the .dll file to your system32 directory
6) taskmanager-->new task, explorer.exe

If anyone doesn't have firefox, winzip etc then I'll post alternate solutions (after I think of them).

Probably the best solution is DON'T INSTALL THE STUPID FUCKING PIECE OF SHITE!
