Cancelling zero rated bids?

Hi,
I have an auction in place that clearly states that zero rated bidders should contact me first. Someone hasn't... and they have placed a bid.

Has anyone got experience of canelling bids. I got to the form to cancel bids but it looks like a thing that ebay might do manually. It says bids should only be cancelled after trying to contact bidder, blah, blah, blah.

Anyone know if ebay really gives a shit... or do they just automatically cancel if you ask them?

Try HERE I had to be logged in to see the page. If not go to site map at the top, Selling Activities, then Cancel Bids on Your Listing.

*EDIT* just read again and saw you got there. I've done it a few times with no problems.

Yes i've also cancelled bids before now with no problems
in your 'myebay/preferences' you can also block bidders in the future automatically, who:

Have a feedback score of -1 or lower
Are currently winning or have bought 1 of my items in the last 10 days and have a feedback score of 5 or lower
Have received 2 Unpaid Item strikes in the last 30 days
Have a feedback score of 5 or lower and no credit card on file
