Default Does it appeal to non-gamers? - you bet!

My GF hates me playing on my PS2, and got the usual "this is boring" when setting it up.

However after 3 points of tennis, the GF was on it, and bouncing around the living room!

I have never heard my wife talk so much about a console before with all the news coverage (I gave up talking to her about such thinks a long time ago). Even the girls want one (because of happy feet and cars) and they haven't show much interest before.
I feel the need, the need for speed. ;-)

You know it's not a proper games machine when the women folk get interested.

Nintendo. Wii will make your balls shrink.

me dad was pretty excited about it when me and me bro were playing golf today, i dont think he will manage the other games that require buttons tho, there was definetly more appeal to him tho that the usual games.

We're getting one after Christmas when the rush dies down. My gf has never been much of a gamer, monopoly and tiger woods on the Xbox is all she's ever played. She's seen a few adverts for the Wii and she can't wait to get it. I doubt she'll be playing FPS games on it, probably just the sports, but I can't grumble, she was dead against an Xbox 360.
