how do you knock the ball out infront of you so you can run faster??

how do you call a second player in to tackle??

i think i know how to do the fake shot/pass, you just hit x then a straight after right??

    hit run twice

how do you call a second player in to tackle??

hold A to pressure with ur controlled player
hold X to pressure with anyother none controlled player

i think i know how to do the fake shot/pass, you just hit x then a straight after right??

slide ur finger over shoot then to pass, the cross button works just as well

the main problem i have is i find it hard to round the keeper, not sure how where as the opposition can pretty much waltz round whenever they get a 1 on 1, i have found that posession is key to this game, its almost as though if you dont have enough posession when you do get the ball your team loose the will to pass

Rounding the keeper is easy (on the PS2 at least), its my no.1 trick to scoring goals, and online players HATE IT!! I don't know the Xbox controller, but on the PS2 use the pad not the stick. Assume you are running left to right you would just press down (or up, but down works better for me) just as you approach the keeper and you will shift to the side and round the keeper. You MUST take your finger off the sprint button first though. Also, if you have slowed down in enough time a quick burst on the sprint can take you past the keeper if you are coming in at an angle.

That's pretty much how I do it. Depress the sprint button when you're bearing down on the keeper and then press it again and change direction simultaneously.

Anyone have any tips for corners? I don't score nearly enough goals from corners.

I found the trick for me is outswinging corners, and tapping the power button WAY BEFORE the ball is anywhere near. Also, make sure the player taking the corners has the highest accuracy stats you have. I still don't score too many, but the difference I found was really in just tapping the power button, otherwise it goes over.

Oh also - with aiming the corner. I always try to aim for the penalty spot and go for about half power from the kicker.

    With corners,

    1. make sure you dont have the sprint buttoin held down

    2. Half power

    3. As soon as your kicker has hit the corner, hold down 'x' for the striker to take his position, then as the ball is approaching his nut, hit it again for the finish.

Rounding the keeper is easy, all you do is hold down your shoot button and when the power bar is on the screen hit the pass button, this will make the player skip round the keeper with ease.

Well, I cant speak for the 360 version Walter, but I found PES6 on the PS2 to be boring and repetitive until I went online with it, since when it has again become my football game of choice! Getting promoted up a division in my first week helped
