    Default Recommend a digital camera

Can anyone recommend a good digital camera.

I'm willing to spend anything from £100-£150

If your local Argos still has any in stock then the Fuji S5600 is a bargain for £112.

Great find with the Fuji I'm looking for a camera and that seems super cheap at that price.

Just got one of these, for the price you can't beat it, and the pics are very good too ... Ps it's got the anti wobble feature (you know the one you need after the night befores session !!)

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...ng.Samsung.htm

Samsung Digimax S800 8MP Digital Camera.
    Was £199.99 5604717
    £119.99
    8m pixels.
    3 x optical zoom.
    10 x digital zoom.
    2.4in LCD colour screen.
    10 scene modes.
    Easy to use mode dial.
SD memory card compatible up to 1GB capacity.
    20MB internal memory .
    Video output.
Advanced MPEG4 movie capture and sound recording. 30 fps, movie stabiliser, pause during recording, still image capture, time trimming function.
    USB connection 2.0
    2 x AA batteries supplied.
    PictBridge compatible.
Accessories included in box - strap, Digimax Master.
    Software compatibility: PC and Mac.
    Weight 169g.
    Size (H)6.1, (W)9.9, (D)2.6cm.

PS the 1 GB memory card you can get from www.mymemory.co.uk for £17.99

I'd recommend the external battery pack for this (£49) as it lasts 6 times longer than ordinary batteries, also comes with a docking station for your PC and a camera case

Maybe, but beware, it's littered with cheap rip off's. I brought a 1gb Sandisk SD card from UK seller, turned out to be a duff, I rung Sandisk who took the serial number and said it was a knock off.

what pixel size do you guys set ur camera too?

I dont think I really need a 8 mega pixel camera because the image comes out too big and size is around 2mb. This is a hassle when you want to email pics to people.
