with the wii yes. the online features are poor. the games definally not there diffrent and very fun. the only thing i dont like about zelda is that am now a wolf :S
if u want quick fast games with something different get the wii otherwise if u want fps. real simulations and amasing gfx. theres no way id pick a wii over a 360 but as a 2nd console it rocks
i really like wii sports it would rock with online play but wii play is a bit crappy but some fun games i like the fishing but its alright for a fiver after u take away the remote price

i found sports is pretty short lived in 1 player but after playing it in 2 and 3 player its definetly alot more fun. Tennis is a little buggy for competitve play tho, so if your the type of person that gets the hump when you unfairly lose it could cause alot of frustration.
Bowling is fantastic, im really really impressed how accurate and realistic the motions are in that, Golf is ok but very shallow and short, but then i wasnt expecting it to be pga tour.
The online service is almost non existant too, but it will evolve, people forget that the Live service took a whole 12 months to be lauched after the xbox, so nintendos first real step into the field will take time.
COD3 is a nice showcase for the Wii controller, the controls feel like nothing else, at first theyre pretty scarey to be honest and it feels hard to play but its realy like having a bike and taking the stabilisers off for the first time. Once you get used to it, it makes the traditional pad method look very primative.
wii sports and wii play are really only supposed to be for teaching you how to use the wii remote, well that what it say in instructions anyhow.
if you're THAT dissapointed pm me
I'm new to this
lol well when i tested my Wii, I played Wii Sports, and for someone being hyped about the Wii, after a hour with Wii Sports, all that hype had gone But I werent allowed to play my real games, Zelda and Red Steel, so cant really say to much till xmas day....
Zelda you really have to stick with for a few hours as its mighty slow to start off and feels a bit hollow. Picks up later and rest assured the wolfy stuff add a nice new angle to things.
I'm a bit bummed that they never got the news, weather and browser ready for launch. Even more annoying because they leave the channels there to taunt you (until you drag them onto page two. ). Still I know it'll come as will the online games.
I can understand what your saying with Wii Play and Wii Sports. However Wii SPorts is better in MUlti Player. Wii Play was a bonus with a controller so that i'm not too bothered about.
As for Zelda! Wow! I'm a few hours in and loving this! It can only get better too!!
Got COD3, had a quick go and will go back to it after some more Zelda action.
We all make mistakes sometimes
Had a few friends round last night and everyone was really impressed .. Rayman is great fun - brilliant time playing the mini sub games .. wii sports was great as well four of us playing tennis, golf, boxing, baseball .. Zelda looked ok but not my sort of game .... Red Steele looks ok , but hard to aim but need to spend so time on it .. all in all 9/10 ...
I'm happy, wii sports is ok, will be more fun with other people. Wii play is just for learning how to use the wiimote, I found that I couldn't do half of the games with out holding it with both hands, so plenty of practice needed there.
Rayman - this is a great game if not a bit mad, my wife did say I looked like an idiot doing the cow throw though
Tony Hawks - Will play this a bit more only done the 1st level, I think it has potential once I work out how to do more tricks and not crash into things.
Download my latest breaks and electro mixes or listen to Sellout Breaks FM
The only think i'm dissapointed about is the fact Freeloader dont work
Oh and Goldeneye is not in the Virtual Console
We all make mistakes sometimes
Goldeneye is one of the top titles on N64 - I have no doubt it will appear, just a matter of when.
Wii Sports is very fun - it's the first console the missus actually wants a go on all the time!
Once the online stuff kicks in it will have another element to it..
It can only get better with time.
I heard something about a specific version of freeloader is required - anybody else about this?
I'm very happy with the Wii & Wii Sports..
Granted single player sports tires after a short while, but 2 player is loads of fun.
My only gripe is that the Wii remote doesn't work when facing bright sunlight, and my living room doesn't have curtains.
Wii sports was great 4 player, tennis especially, but bowling also a good laugh. Single player wouldn't hold interest very long.
I found zelda a slow start, but I heard it takes a while so will def stick with it. Looks like it should be a good social console with something different to it, good supplement to the 360.
Best thing since sliced bread.
:thumbup
Love the control method. Very PC like so if you are used to that then it'll be easy. Zelda is so easy to sue the controls with. Well thought out.

I can def agree wii play isnt up to much but am loving the sports. Probably couldnt play it all the time constantly but it definitely gets harder and more involving as you "Rank up".
Only thing that might work out in the goldeneye situation is, isnt Nintendo the publisher? and Rare was almost in house at the time and often with programming stuff it seems the Publishers do shaft the Developers rights wise so it could be down to making sure its legaly sound to republish it for the "n64"
