Default Acoustic Solutions Clock Radio with iPod Dock was £79.99 now £22.49

    Argos

    • AM/FM digital tuner.
    • Snooze function.
    • Adjustable sleep timer.
    • Dual alarm.
    • Wake to radio/buzzer/iPod.
    • 12/24 hour clock.
    • am/pm indicator.
    • iPod charges while it is docked.
    • Compatible with iPod Shuffle/Photo/Nano/Mini/4th Generation and 3rd Generation iPod.
    • Battery back up requires 2 x AA batteries (not supplied).
    • Size (H)25.6, (W)16, (D)8.6cm.

    More info I found.....
    Comes with a (20cm) 3.5cm to 3.5cm cable.

There is a remote control supplied which will allow control of play/pause and skip to next/previous track on the ipod, as well as volume controls and also if in Radio mode scan the channels.

Has an Aux in socket located at the back of the unit so can play any other music devices with a 3.5mm jack through it as well.

A packet containing four rubber sticky pads to alledgedly enable the use of the 5th gen iPod video to be used with it, I would have thought Argos would have mentioned that in the specs.

I got one of these and it sounds pretty good for the size and price.

Cant for the life of me get the ipod to play as the alarm though. I have tried it with my 5th Gen one and an old 3rd gen one too.

    Anyone else get one??

    Cheers

i got one ages back, to use ipod as alarm you hold alarm 1 or alarm 2
until the time flashes up, then just push the wake button until a little ipod logo appears. If your ipod isnt plugged in, it just beeps instead so you don't sleep in.

If your using a compatible generation iPod then it might be faulty so take it back, if your not using a compatible generation iPod then that might be why it doesn't work.
