lol...
WinRAR
depending on where your downloading from, QuickPar could also be handy if your getting incomplete files.
I have never used anything apart from WinRar and QuickPar, and if you have the correct Par files, you should never have any issues with damaged or corrupt files.

cheers for the help guys, as you can tell i aint the most technical bloke in the world!!
Im still having trouble with winrar, keeps telling me i need the netxt volume to continue, even tho that to the best of my knowledge everything i want is on that one file.
If it says next volume it normally means that its a spanned archive.
If you are sure all the files are in the one rar file them when you extract put a tick in the keep broken files box. It should allow you to extract what is available then.
'Sausages! Hot sausages! Inna bun! Meat pies! Get them while they're hot!'
... Hole food! Hole food! Rat! Rat! Rat-onna-stick! Rat-in-a-bun! Get them while they're dead!'
Winrar v 3.6 is the best to use, have used for quite a long time and like the other member quotes Winace can cause problems.
Pm me if you cannot find Winrar 3.6 version
