Have you tried connecting to any other bluetooth devices m8, like a PC dongle or an other handset.

If so does it connect ok and stay connected until everything has been transferred ??

Tried the headset with a W850i and it seems to hold its connection m8.

Seems it may be a fault with the bluetooth in the phone???? gutted
    Is it repairable m8 ?

Thats what I was trying to establish m8, lol.

What I actually meant in my last post was about the handset and not the headset, lol.

I believe there is an actual bluetooth IC that can be changed m8. But as I am no expert in repairs (or anything else for that matter, lol) I am not 100% sure.

I will try and find out for you though m8.

PS, has the handset ever been flashed or updated as it could simply be a sw fault, or maybe the bluetooth ID is corrupt.

    Excellent stuff m8,

UPDATE: The handset used to be a K750 but was flashed to a W800i when i got the new cover, some local shop did it about 6 months ago.

The headset stays connected when its within a couple of inches of the phone, as soon as i move the phone, even 1 foot away it disconnects.

Attention Re: Bluetooth probs with a W800i

    Hey

Sounds like it's the Bluetooth 'handshaking' thats faulty in the 'Phones software profile.

You will probably have to flash the 'phone with the old profile to get back the functionality.

Fonetech may be able to help you, if he has a working profile for your handset to keep its' functionality as the W800i.
