Thought I'd jump on the poll bandwagon and ask if you fuckers eat chicken and eggs together?
The very thought of eating an animal and something it could have given birth to doesn't seem right to me and I've always had a rule of never eating chicken and egg together.
How do you know you're not a eating the same chicken that laid the egg? If there was ever a case for greater openess in food production I think this is it.
If I'm eating a chicken I'd want to know if the half dozen eggs in my cupboard were from the same bird. Surely with technologies such as RFID eggs and chickens could be linked and supermarkets could ensure you had a choice of exchanging a chicken at checkout should the eggs have been laid by the self baster in your basket.
I have a similar rule regarding herring roe and rollmops.
