Web site up dated

Hi Would like your opinions on the site change
I have changed it from the basic blues and whites to the multi colour as in the multi coloured swap shop on tv,( i would like to add the theme tune from ther tv program but cant find it ) i have also added a you tube clip which i will be changing on a regular basis .
1. Would like your opinions on the site
2. Do you think its a good idea to add a clip and maybe change it once a month.
3. Also i would appreciate it if you find any faults/errors so i can get them sorted asap

The site isn't rendering properly in firefox by the looks of things.

Also, what's the relevance of the youtube clip? I don't really see the point.

To be honest if you compare your site to http://www.swapz.co.uk/, you can see that there's a world of difference. If I had a choice I know which one i'd go for.

riko, i think you should really start again with the colour scheme m8...sorry for pulling the site down a little but i thought i would look at it for 10 mins and it really started to play havoc with my eyes.
the layout is good enough as i found things easy enough and had no probs with navigation but the lines at the side seem to close in after a while and draw me away from what i am looking at.

keep up the good work as in all projects it takes time and trial and error will make this a cool looking site and i know there are loads of people on here that will offer help and advice.

as for the clip i just thought it would would be something different for people to view as i aint never seen them on swaps sites before.
it could be a mistake but i will wait and see ,it can be removed easily enough.

Yeah be sure to always test your sites on firefox and opera, as they are used by a significant number of web users.

I'd say scrap the whole design and go for a smoother colour combination. The rainbow theme just isnt working.
Failing that delete the site and start again with fresh thinking and a unique idea which is actually going to attract people to it.

Unfortunately for you, this site will never be successful.

Heh, I avoid this section quite happily most of the time, but I do like to read on occasion to see marcode giving his brutally honest opinions out (to someone that actually asks for them for a change ) but marcode, seen as you are usually so honest in this section, why the blatant lie in the quote above?

its not a lie... theres clearly some kind of learning difficulty issues pertaining to this thread and the fact that the OP appeared to be deadly serious lol.

It looks like it was built 10 years ago. Close the bastard down. Even that .gif ad (share central) looks pikey.

You can take critique from here but no fucker buying anything or swapping anything will hopefully spell it out for you.

Throwing some code together doesn't make you a web designer. You can either see it or you can't.

When coding build for FF and then use hacks to make IE understand your layout. It's the right way to go about it.
