A Well deserved double win for RR. This guy pops up all over the place to help out where he can. In fact, he is even helping me out right now, giving me advice on my poo pipe! (What a star).
However, it isn't just me singing his praises. A huge 34% of the voters considered him Member of the year and 38% thought him a most Helpful guy!

A quick mention should be made to Shambles who came 2nd in both awards (21% & 30%). He picks up one of RR's vouchers due to the "only one voucher per member" rule. Well done Shambles.

However, Tonight is about Roach Rampino.

The year has seen both highs and lows on DF but either way I have enjoyed being a part of this quality forum.

Brown Noser 2006
Greatest Selfless Act 2006

It was a Good/Bad double win for TheFincher.

In the Brown nose award he was in a league of his own with nearly 40% of voters thinking his Happy Birthday Thread for Bertroot and Marcode was way OTT. Nobody else was even close!

In the Greatest selfless act our voters also thought that Finchers free K750i was worthy of 46% of the votes. Close behind was Tammer getting 35% of votes for his free books thread. Tammer's effort got him Finchers 2nd Neo Voucher (again under the "only one voucher per member" rule).

TheFincher, you are no doubt The Greatest Selfless Brown Noser 2006!

King of the Hall of Shame 2006

It was a massive double win for Partyman. Not only did he dominate the votes in BOTH awards with a massive 57% (HOS) and 79% (fuckwit) but he did it with just one thread. A thread that is now sooo big that it is hosted by its very own server in far away HOS land! Yes itsthe now legendary "I've Bricked my PSP" thread

A special mention should be made to poor old Zapiy (who got Partmans 2nd voucher). It was a good effort to request a Audio/Video section (when one already exsists), however his 2nd place effort only managed a tiny 12% of the votes in the shadow of Partymans effort!

Best Thread of the Year 2006

It was a close battle for the BTOTY. It was that close that four people could have won it. However Robbo literally came out on top with his "Have you ever been caught wanking?" Thread/Poll. I personally never got clarification if this thread was restricted to acts to yourself or also acts to other people? So I never joined in! However, the result of Robbo's "deep" research was that 45% of DF members nearly got caught but managed to get away with it!

In total there were 9 nominations battling it out in the new "DF open" award. However, GTI came out on top for his nomination for "Best Newcomer". Members have been impressed with his arguements and opinions that are frequently posted on DF.

Random Voter Award

I couldn't finish these awards without mentioning Beerman.

If there was an award for the luckiest member then Beerman surely would have won it.

He was the last of 10 random members drawn to be entered into a football sweepstake. Every one got allocated 10 minutes of the exciting game "Grays v Gravesend" except Beerman. As the last person drawn, he got the 90th minute plus any extra time. The wining goal was defined as the last goal of the wining side...
