i dont think day tickets are available unless your a resident of the local area, or something. Theres info on the official site in the FAQ.

i'm going, its not a question of getting a ticket, i'm just going, simple as! Ok, I am dedicated to getting a ticket, so much so, i'm tempted to go into work and do overtime just so can I group the phone together when I'm on my own and keep nailing re-dial on 7 phones and the website till i get through. If I was cheaky, which I am, I would go around the corner to the call centre and see what strings I can pull with the workies who will be aorund there and susceptable to a bribe of some whatlove (that sounds gross actually)

I also have the possibility of getting a cleaner job at glasto which entails buying a ticket for face value and then working it off by doing 5x 8 hour shifts cleaning. As if i'd clean, It's just a excuse to burn the connection if all else fails and I can't get a ticket via my skanky methods.

I dunno, it's the people who abuse it that make it unfair for the others

7 members that I know of (including me) got tickets.

According to news reports only 137,500 tickets went on sale today and as they said it was selling 175,000 in total I can only assume they'll be selling more at a later date.

Well done you lot, I read somewhere that they are going to sell some more tickets at the end of April (cancellations etc.), so if, like me, you didnt get one this time look out for them in a few weeks.

its normal to have a second sale i think, theres bound to be loads of payments that dont go through or cancellations.

I got through today late on and there were only tickets with coach travel included (an extra £50 per person), i was fed up of it by now and my mate had pissed off the bed so i couldnt ask him if this was ok. Balls to it!

Just spotted the coach travel tickets on the website, apparently they account for 25,000 tickets on top of the 137,500 stand alone tickets.

I'm excited and paranoid that I won't have completed my purchase. to see £304 go from my bank will please me to high levels. For it to remain the same will make me share the attitude of those who didn't get a ticket.

Oh well, I don't know, ignorance is bliss, so i'll roll with that for the time being.

Now I gotta go on ebay and bid for some sleeping bags and a reduced size tent, my other one sleeps 6 which is a little extortionate for two

You also need photo ID I think. I think the tickets are Tippee tickets which only need one person's name of them and the others to be pre-approved.

For anyone that registered but didn't get tickets, you can buy a teepee ticket which is one ticket for 6 people and so only one person needs to be on the ticket.

Yeah you need to be registered with them, but you don't have to have your name put down when buying the teepee ticket. That's why people can still sell them on eBay.
