Tooled up?

When I moved house in November I came across a small arsenal of weapons on my loft. We'd had a party a couple of years before, which caused a lot of problems with Environmental Health and eventually the police turned up at 4am mob handed to make us turn off the music (9 complaints from neighbours..3 of which from the other side of the golf course!). In my drunken state I thought that when the old Bill had come they had confiscated these weapons but I must have stashed them just inside the loft hatch.

There was a can of CS gas, a small wooden cosh (drilled out at the end and filled with lead) and a blank firer gun. I also have a Co2 repeater pistol, a nylon club that a friend made for me, a few baseball bats, a pick axe handle and some ammonia in a Jif "squeezy lemon" plastic bottle.

Is there something wrong with me or does anyone else keep any tools in the house/by the bed in case of a break-in? What do you have? Post any pics.

If someone broke in you would have to ask them to wait while you remembered where you stashed your arsenal, and then while you went and got it!!

I dont keep anything by the bed but i do have some weapons, When i was 16 i went to Spain and had never seen weapons readily available like they are out there so i got myself a set of throwing knives, a shuriken (ninja star) and a set of nun chucks, i was absolutely shitting myself when i came back through customs but all was well and good as i didnt get caught!

There all just sitting in a box somewhere now as when i used to get pissed or a little too stoned i thought it was a good idea to throw the knives at my wall.......... needless to say the landlord wasnt impressed

Yes.

Our neighbour at our old house was held at gunpoint on his floor by a couple of blokes at the beginning of last year. He is an old boy in his 70's so didn't put up much resistance. It shook up the neighbourhood for a few months afterwards as it wasn't the sort of area you would expect that shit to happen. The way I see it if some junkie-fuck breaks into my house with a rusty knife or whatever, I will stand half a chance of defending myself against him, or if he sees the weapon he's more likely to scarper.

This is my Co2 gun...it looks and sounds pretty impressive and if I was popping off shots at a would be offender, I reckon he would have second thoughts....

No, it had run out, it was over 6 years old so I chucked it in the skip.

An old friend of mine got 3 years for spraying it after a Scotland V England game at Hampden in the late 80's. He was surrounded by sweaties up a side street and didn't really have any choice........but the old bill turned up and he got fucked for it.

Jesus! I got gassed in the Blue Anchor toilets in South Croydon about 12 years ago and also at a jungle rave although that wasn't aimed at me. It's bastard stuff as it is very volatile and burns your throat and eyes for ages. I appreciate your good advice pal but like I say I have since ditched said gas.

I was at a house party once when the place was raided by the police. Amongst many other things, they found a baseball bat in one of the bedrooms and asked the owner whether he had a ball for the bat. Looking puzzled he replied "No".. so they confiscated it.

You should get rid of it as soon as possible, just in case.

I have a replica g-10 pistol, air rifle, baseball bat at the side of the bed and my missus has some cs gas. When I caught someone breaking into my shed my missus had hid all the weapons (due to estate agents coming around), so I had to rely on mr left and right.

Huzzah! I'm not the only one then? I am surprised that there aren't more member who at least keep a golf club or hockey stick handy....
