iTunes help

Can somebody help me here , i was recently trying oot media monkey and trying to get the album art for all my music but for some reason the damn program decided to change all the album art to the same album (gloria estefans greatest hits ) also the artists name has changed also . Now i managed to shut the programme down before it did too much damage to my music collection but my problem now is if i play a track in any music player on my pc it changes the details to gloria estefan how do i stop this happening . I cannot plug in my ipod for fear that it will make changes to the tracks on there , so any ideas what should i do delete all my music and then back it up from my ipod if so how do i do this ?

Are you using a Mac or Windoze?

If you're using a mac, Senuti is a good freeware app that'll transfer the songs from your iPod back to your itunes library.

Not too sure on similar MS programs I'm afraid - but there are some out there

I'd definately consider deleting your itunes library then transfer all the songs from the iPod to iTunes, just remember, once you're attached your iPod, change the settings so it doesn't 'auto update' all the Gloria tracks.

The most recent iTunes (7) gets all album artwork for you free under 'Advanced' menu.
