I couldn't disagree more, this series has highlighted a very serious issue.

So you said you couldn't disagree more with my statement that:

Personally I think than anyone who is stupid enough to watch this inane hunk of shit programme is an idiot. Worse are the sad fucks who go down to the studio and chant and boo as the people come out.

I disagree with the first part, why do you assume anyone who watches the program is an idiot? That's a ridiculous comment. It's like saying anyone who watches Eastenders or Corrie or Newsnight is an idiot. No one said BB is high brow TV, it's entertainment. People watch it for different reasons. If you don't like it fine.

I agree this has gone a bit too far - they are talking about it in the commons! I do feel Shilpa is being bullied, but that has always been a part of the big brother frame. As part of the bullying, some of the things that are being said can be interpretted as racist, but i don't think they are inteneded as racist. (I can't tell with Danielle, she is too stupid and i just can't begin to imagine how her head works)

I was a bit shocked by his reaction when asked the colour of his wife - his antics need a bit more attention as his comments are going totally unnoticed.

end of the day, making someone feel worse because of the colour of their skin is racism. Thinking your better than someone because of your skin colour is racist. I hope neither applies to Jermaine or shilpa, but we still have a few days left in the house

There's no comic genius involved, no gripping scripts or genuine acting talent, no innovative camerwork or topical, discerning or stimulating conversation. All that's happened here is a bunch of talentless morons have been put in a building and filmed as whatever drivel pours out of their mouths over the course of the day. Is this really your idea of entertainment?

It's not even an original concept anymore, which as I said in my first post, that it once was.

I'm not for one second trying to trivialise the issue of bullying or racism but are you really suprised that these people have come out with these comments to Shilpa? They are clearly ignorant, it's hardly a big shock that this is how they behave.

Well my point was more along the lines of the fact that at least other light entertainment programmes such as Eastenders et al do have scripts, trained actors and some direction etc.

Its all a publicity stunt anyway the viewer figures have been half as much as last year due to Jade and her family C4 have edited the show to highlight this situation and they are pushing it for as far as they can go. Prob why they have done nothing about it. Same could be said about Carphone warehouse they dont give a shit but them talking about dropping their sponsorship is a good move in the publicity stakes.

Stick a bunch of women in a house living together and this is what happens they bitch at each other and have little cat fights.
