What's the first game you ever 'completed'?

Trying to dig deep into my memory of my first gaming experiences I wondered what game I fully completed first. I think I have to admit it was Sonic 1 on the mega drive.

I had a Commodore 64 before the MD and on it I had quite a few games, the trouble was that back then I was too impatient to sit for a few mins to watch strobe-vision before I got to play a game. I whiled away too long on Dizzy and got to the very last stages but then suffered a power cut and couldn't bring myself to get back to the same point again (awsome game though, we need a Dizzy '07.) I also remember playing Street Surfer for a LONG time but KO'ing at good speed on oil and overtaking cars more than dumping at the bottle bank ad refreshing myself on Coke. I didn't know any better, I always hoped one day I'd reach that city, I even used to hullucinate and think it was getting bigger... I was young...

I bet that was about 1985

pretty certain the first game i finished was alex the kid on the master system!
after that i got an amiga 1200 and im not sure if the first game i finished on that was flashback or some kind of platform game with a frog as the main character(name escapes me though!)

I then went on to complete the alex kidd shinobi game.

i cant remember mine, the first few games i really played were the type u could never finish, duck hunt etc. I got a shitty game called gyromite with my nes that you were supposed to play with that robot thing, i think i cheated my way through that since i didnt have any other games at the time.

The first game i can definetly remember finsihed was probably super mario bros 3 which was released in 1991 according to wikipedia. Apparent the game was out 3 years earlier in japan, and we moan about a few months delay nowadays.

The first game i remember finishing with pride was shinobi on the master system. Finished games before that like double dragon in the arcade and others.

Most memorable is Blade Runner for the pc, cant remember as far back as amiga or spectrum days !!!

The Hobbit on our Oric Atmos, had to be '84 or '85.

The one that really sticks in my mind is Super Mario Land on the Game Boy but im sure i did a few on the Amstrad CPC464 before that......... Ill have a think!

It repeated forever, but I finished Astro Blaster. Found a few on ebay too for a few quid. Damn tempted to buy one!

First one I remember was Wonder Boy III:Monster world 2 on the Master System. Where you turned into a dragon, mouse, pirahna, hawk etc.

Did it with the helpof my old man, Well actually it was mostly him. He even recorded it on VCR so we could watch it. Great memories

M8 I dont know how much time i spent playing elite back in the day.
Still my fave game wish they would make a Massive multiapler game along those lines. I got to elite on the Commodore 64 and Deadly on Frontier on the Amiga.

The main game that sticks in my mind is Robocop in the arcade or double dragon I could complete both those no worries every time for 10p after spending half my childood pumping them with 10 pees
