Does anyone play Torn City? (Online Text RPG Game)

Its one of them random games that sucks you in for a few hours - much like the old windows game "Drug wars".

However this one is quite funny, build a life in text, cars, weapons, house etc etc.

Wondered if anyone had ever come across it ?

Not something u can sit and play constant - cos its very time based. But if you sign in couple of times a day - can pass a bit of time.

started the other day when this thread popped up

that $125k thing is not just getting points from signing up for stuff then selling them is it? the fansites say that trading points in for cash is a waste of points, its better to buy points with money as the price of them is constantly inflating so its an investment. you wanna do crimes and then when you get onto the proper crimes you get some proper money

and it costs nothing to have a job so make sure you have one. casino pays best in cash for new players. you'd only need to not have a job if you really need your happy to be high for training

Points are useless to you in small amounts, and u wont have enough cash to spend them.

so anyone under level 10, might as well sell the points for money!

Crimes are cool, just keep going and going and ur be able to do higher ones soon enough.

Im level 2 rank #5 - be level 3 tomorrow hopefully.

lol i just got jailed for the first time... well the red report that i ran into a police officer came up but it didnt mention jail, so i clicked the jail thing and the only person in there said he was in there for busting me out, then i refreshed it and he had been busted out

seems that busting people for crime exp. is quite commonplace

Your in jail for 10 seconds at most - someone will bust u out all the time.

Try to make sure u got a med kit free also - in case u get mugged.

I was experiencing delays refreshing yesterday. Now it won't load at all.

From the morning (9am) till around 3:30pm the site is fast ask hell.

Once all the 12yr olds get out of school and get on their puters... it lags and timesout all night long.
