    Xbox 360 Is this Sata Card any good for MS28 etc....

    it got the correct chip, set so cant see why not I have not seen one either with the usb on, but for what it cost it may be worth risking if your going to pick it up
    I think you will have a good chance of it working fine

    Have you tried hex editing your mtkflash so it uses the correct addressing for you sata? I got some onboard sata and it worked a treat for me..

    yes have tried but for MS28 It needs to be able to do recovery mode so I need the VIA Chipset really anyway didnt go with the one from Fleebay got one ordered from a store

    I thought the recovery mode (10 second trick) was invoked by the drive during power up. I take it your current sata card does not wait long enough before timeout.
